Great post. Really made me think about all the books I need to go through and get rid of. As you said, certain volumes need to stay, for they are referenced quite often - Suzuki's Zen and anything by Brian Tracy come to mind - but there are so many I can do without or at least put in storage. It almost seems heresy to apply 'de-cluttering' to books, but you make many valid points.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I have to have a moment alone just to 'center' myself. I know that I'm a good person even though I don't feel good all the time. If someone insults me or ridicules me, it hurts my feelings & makes me feel bad, but it doesn't change who I am on the inside.
